Ruth Ann (Woollen) Wilkerson

1941-2026

Our Society is mourning the loss of Ruth Wilkerson, who passed away on May 26, 2026.  Ruth was a volunteer, board member, and wonderful person who has been active in The McLean County Genealogical Society for the last 45 years.  When you think “irreplaceable” – that would define Ruth.  She was generous, smart, hard-working, and willing to help anyone with any problem.  Just about everything you see in our publications from cemetery books to Gleanings – Ruth’s contribution shows thru.  Our thoughts and prayers go to Sherman and the family.
